My name is Michelle R. Theberge; I am a lawyer and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada. I was called to the bar in 2005 and have practiced law in Toronto for over a decade. I recently moved to London, Ontario, with my family and am expanding my law practice to the London area. Theberge Law (serving clients in London region, Komoka and Toronto) is capable of meeting all the legal needs of a small-medium size businesses, individuals and estates. Our practice areas include corporate law / business law, litigation and employment law.
Since opening Theberge Law, I have developed a full service law practice to meet the daily needs of small to medium size businesses. Whether you are arranging a start up business or have been operating for several years, we have the expertise to service your company.
As an experienced litigator, I have successfully represented numerous clients in the Superior Court of Justice, the B.C. Supreme Court and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Over the course of my practice, I have assisted both employers and employees to properly define their relationships, maintain their relationships and resolve disputes (including human rights complaints).
Having been a business owner prior to obtaining my law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School, I understand how disputes can affect profitability and I work hard to ensure that your exposure is as minimal as possible. I have experienced first hand how overly adversarial litigators run up legal costs to the detriment of their clients. I believe I balance the rare skill of being ready to fight for my clients in court while always trying to obtain the most cost effective solution possible. In my spare time, I enjoy golfing, playing hockey and snowboarding.
