Under the Volcano first opened their doors in 1974, on Colborne Street. It was in an old Victorian house with only one dining room. As the love for Mexican food grew, the restaurant moved to a bigger location. Along with our colorful Mexican dining room, we have a separate EXPRESS/ Take-Out for fresh, fast, tasty food to take home or be delivered. Our Chefs pride themselves in making meals from scratch daily. Our basic recipes are mildly spiced, but “erupting” with flavor!
We do NOT add any MSG, use zero trans fat oil for cooking and we specialize in fresh food! We cook our own chips daily, make our own salsa and slow roast our fajita beef. We do NOT add any preservatives or additives to any of our recipes. GLUTEN FREE, VEGETARIAN AND VEGAN MEALS is our specialty.
