Berroco MYSTERY BLANKET KNIT ALONG
Description
Are you ready to join Berroco’s year-long Mystery Blanket Knit Along to build and sharpen your knitting skills?
The Berroco Design Team has worked to create a delightful mix of techniques and methods for the twenty squares that come together to create a stunning stitch sampler blanket.
This is a skill building blanket, so we will be knitting a variety of stitches and techniques! And as we progress through the year, the techniques for the squares will become a little more involved, offering both challenge and delight for knitters of all skill levels.
Here’s a sampling of what’s in store… an engaging mix of constructions including outside in, center out, and straight up and down knitting, along with a variety of techniques, such as texture patterns, lace, cables, slipped stitches (mosaic), stranded colourwork (fairisle), intarsia, and a cable and lace combo.
But, let’s not be nervous! Why? Because every month Berroco will release a helpful, step-by-step video to guide us through each new technique or stitch – from cables and lace to seaming and picking up stitches and everything in between; Berroco will be there to support us each step of the way in creating a beautiful, timeless blanket that will be cherished for years to come!

Judy & Cheryl are participating in this MKAL! They are so excited about it that they have collaborated together and WILL be offering hands-on monthly help sessions starting in January 2025 to guide you through the project and support you when you need it.
Starting January 2, 2025, Berroco will release one or two new patterns on the first Thursday of every month.
Mystery Knit Along Information
To help us with our colour choices for this blanket, Berroco has put together four pre-selected kit colourways. Of course, we can always choose our own colours if preferred.
TO ORDER: Call the store at 519-474-0403 with your name, phone number, choice of Kit colour and payment information. To have our kits here in time for the start of the MKAL, deadline for ordering is Dec. 15/24. Of course, we can always order past that date and receive our kits after the MKAL starts.

While we do carry a number of colours in Vintage, we can’t carry them all. So if there is a colour on the shade cards that you want for your blanket, we can order it in for you by the skein, with no minimums.
