As its name describes, Drops Air by Garnstudio is an airy yarn that’s soft and light on the skin. Made from soft baby alpaca, warm merino wool and a bit of nylon for strength, this medium weight yarn is great for a wide variety of projects. It has unique construction and is a new and exciting “blown yarn” where instead of spinning, the fibres are blown into a tube. This enables garments and accessories made from this yarn to be 30% to 35% lighter than those made with conventionally spun yarns.
