Once Upon A String is owned and operated by Kourtney, a local Ontario artisan that offers handmade, hand stitched, snap on pompoms in carefully selected, quality faux fur fabrics.
Each pompom has a snap pre-sewn to the base, plus a snap that can be sewn to your project - making them easy to remove or change!
100% Faux Fur, with metal snaps; available in small or large sizes; $14.98 each.
Don't be fooled by how real they look (& and they DO look real) as they are made completely out of man-made materials. The detail in the faux fur fabric is incredible with subtle highlights of various colours in each pom's tufts. The fabric itself is comprised of varying lengths of fur-like fibre mimicking the depth and texture of the real thing in a variety of animal-like colours. The ‘Fur’ is of very high quality that has a lovely, gentle sheen to it.
Care instructions: To re-fluff, usually shaking them works fine! Steaming pompoms is safe, as is brushing them. Spot clean with a damp cloth and then leave out to air dry; a blow dryer works fantastically to fluff them up again and make them look like new.
