Canadian company Estelle Yarns’ punch needle is made for use with standard yarn weights, making it the perfect tool for creating a range of textures. It also allows you to make the most of the odd bits of yarn you might have left over from knitting and crochet projects.
The “Smooth” handle is made of Beech Wood and is finished with a light natural wax, making it comfortable to hold, and comes with a threader and three interchangeable (IC) machined brass tips.
The tips on these punch needles can be inserted so they are between 1" (2.5cm) to 1.5" (3.8cm), which produces a 0.5" (1.2cm) to 0.75" (1.9cm) long loop.
