What does “de-haired” mean? Illimani Yarn goes that extra step by removing all of the coarse hairs, leaving only the very finest, softest llama hairs to create their Eco Llama yarn. This results in a superbly soft yarn that is warmer, stronger and lighter than wool of the same weight.
Eco-Llama is a precious fingering-weight, de-haired baby llama with superb softness that is comparable to and perhaps exceeds that of alpaca, in truly undyed, natural colours of the llama. Create luxurious shawls and accessories, or lightweight yet warm, breathable garments with this absolutely magnificent yarn.
Eco-Llama colours are made from the undyed natural colours of the llama, in both solids and marls. Made in Bolivia.
