What can a Landlord ask for when renting a unit?

If you are a landlord you are only entitled to ask for first and last month's rent. Your also allowed to ask for a key deposit. But only a key deposit, no deposit for damages. THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 TO LANDLORDS

The province of Ontario has ordered the mandatory closure of all non-essential workplaces effective March 24th, 2020.

Legal services are considered essential services and we remain available for you. The unfortunate part is the legal outcomes are severely restricted.

The Landlord and Tenant Board closed it's counters for service on March 16, 2020. We can process your applications but you may not get a hearing date till future notice.

With many people staying home the roads are empty. It seems that it makes it easier to speed without knowing it. Please watch your speed. Many people are having their cars towed for stunt driving. It is very costly so be careful out there. If you do get a speeding ticket please give us a call.
