Hmmmmm….where do I begin? Well first of all we’ve been a client of blueCaribou since October 9, 2015. At the beginning everything went smoothly with our correspondence and meetings relating to our business taxation. Then everything went sour. July 2, 2017 I sent an email to the accountant I was working with and didn’t have a reply. I emailed again on July 24, 2017 asking if accountant (won’t mention names) had a chance to look into my request. July 24, 2017 – I sent email - Good afternoon. I haven’t heard anything back from you from the email below dated July 2, 2017. I was wondering if you have had a chance to address this matter with CRA? July 25, 2017 I had a reply from the “firm”. Accountant decided to leave the accounting firm at the end of June to pursue another opportunity at a National Firm. We will advise him to reach out to you directly to address your concerns. Thank you for your patience during time. July 25, 2017 – I emailed firm asking if my accountant took all the paperwork that I had sent to him. July 25, 2017 – I also emailed administrative assistant – Stating: “The last email I received from my accountant was June 22, 2017. You also received a copy of the email. I’m quite disappointed to learn that my accountant is no longer with the firm and more disappointed that he didn’t have enough courtesy to inform us he was leaving the company. I’m sure he knew he was leaving the following week from blueCaribou. Instead we are left hanging…………very unprofessional. Did he take our files with him? Please forward this email to the appropriate associate if this is not in your jurisdiction to reply. July 26, 2017 – received phone call from another accountant at firm and then he emailed me the following – “Thanks again for the call. (I didn’t call him – he called me as I didn’t know who to call) they had my number. - I'll obtain the files from accountant’s office and touch base next week to review. September 19, 2017 – He never touched base at all with me since the day he called me July 26, 2017!!!. Soooo, I copied all files and records I had in my possession and drove to bluCaribou and dropped them off. I returned home and emailed said accountant , “Hello, as I haven’t heard anything back from you I took it upon myself to reprint and put together some paperwork for you to look at. Thank you for your assistance with my questions. September 28, 2017 – CURRENT DATE – NO WORD FROM bluCARIBOU………….so unprofessional, so impersonal and no people skills to have the courtesy to let me know where we stand with this company. WOULD NOT, WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVER!!! Nothing like leaving clients hanging when CRA are asking questions. We hired accountants to HELP us get CRA stuff figured out. Oh yes and one other thing….OUR ACCOUNT HAS A ZERO BALANCE we OWE THEM NOTHING. I understand business and every day life, I know things can go sideways, and so be it!!!! But customers are what make a business work and losing customers is not a great business practice and if anyone should know this it should be AN ACCOUNTING FIRM!!!!!!! AMEN

Worse experience ever. I had issues with my tax return that apparently stemmed from previous years. I hired Ryan to do my small business and personal taxes and did not receive the refund I had expected. I requested assistance with the issue instead he demanded payment and threaten to take me to collections if I didn't pay him right away. I had to hire someone else to look into my tax issue. Horrible customer service and straight up unprofessional. I don't not recommend this firm at all.
