Welcome to a new month…October is upon us. The leaves are changing, the days are getting shorter, the evenings are getting cooler – Fall is a lovely time of year!
With this new month comes another new colourway from Ancient Arts yarns, that we will share with you today. And as Abby had mentioned, Janet has been busy with some restocking orders. We will share more with you of what has arrived recently.

It is an ‘any yarn’ project in that you can use just about any yarn that appeals to you, like today’s Colour of the Month offering – hint, hint ;) and the pattern also lends itself to a number of possibilities that inspire creativity, should you feel motivated.

The Everyday Wrap is very easy to knit and surprisingly warm… enough to cut the chill at a restaurant or party. Be sure to knit it in your very favorite and most flattering colour and you will reach for it often!

This can be an ‘any yarn’ project! Choose what most appeals to you in texture, colour, fibre and off you go! It can be light as a feather knit with lace weight mohair or Air Lux, or comfortable year ‘round made with a blend like Marmel, Dulce or Sesame or even warmer and cozier knit with a pure wool like Cascade 220 Superwash or luxurious using Amelie, or somewhere in between…the options are endless!!

More Options: Use a multi-coloured, solid or heathered yarn, a textured yarn, add a pattern stitch, knit it entirely or parts of it in garter stitch, add stripes, use multiple yarns throughout…soooo many choices!

Her dress makes it look like she added fringe; she didn’t…but it would look amazing with fringe as well!
