LET’S SPRITZ!! Will you be participating in the Lemon Spritz Knit-Along (KAL) with us?

Judy is deciding between making her Lemon Spritz in Remix Light (col. 6917 Periwinkle) or Ella Rae Marmel (col. 13 Ocean Jasper)…the suspense is killing me!

I’ve decided to use Remix Light (col. 6977 Pool). I love the little pink flecks against the ocean blue background. I can 100% guarantee you that I won’t have mine done in the ‘4-10 days’ and that is ‘A-OK!’ But, I am hoping to complete it in time to wear this summer…no pressure ;)

Here are a few yarn suggestions from London Yarns…
  • Bamboo Pop – 50% Cotton, 50% Bamboo; 266m/100g; $15.98
  • Remix Light – 30% Nylon, 27% Cotton, 24% Acrylic, 10% Silk, 9% Linen; 400m/100g; $17.98
  • Ultra Pima – 100% Mercerized Pima Cotton; 200m/100g; $14.98
  • Ultra Pima Fine – 100% Mercerized Pima Cotton; 125m/50g; $7.98
  • Ella Rae Marmel – 55% Cotton, 42% Acrylic; 250m/100g; $19.98
  • Softee Cotton – 60% Cotton, 40% Acrylic; 232m/100g; $7.98
  • Comfort DK – 50% Superfine Acrylic, 50% Superfine Nylon; 165m/50g; $6.98

Pace Yourself & Have Fun
“The 4 Day Knitalong is NOT about knitting until your fingers fall off; it’s about knitting a sweater faster than you thought you could – whatever that might be for you. For those who like a challenge, you can try your hand at the speedy 4-10 day pace (based on your size), but how quickly you knit your Tee is completely up to you.”

“We’ll be celebrating and knitting throughout the month of July, so you can work at the pace that’s best for you. Some folks like to count their hours and calculate their total knitting time at the end, while others love to take their time and just aim for binding off by the end of July. The goal is to reach the finish line – however long it may take to get there. Set your goal, wind your yarn, grab a cool, citrus drink and join in the shared energy and enthusiasm of friends all around the globe.”
– quoted from Marie at Olive Knits

We’re counting down to the cast-on date!

Cast-On Day is Friday, June 30th

TAP HERE to view full KAL details, how to participate and pattern details

Get ready…get set…start knitting!! …on June 30th, that is.

If you feel so inclined, we would LOVE to have you share with us your Lemon Spritz Tee, whether finished or in progress.

And that’s another Monday email brought to a close. Please enjoy the rest of your week and we hope to see you in the shop sometime soon.
Patti-Ann
