SUMMER WEAR
Monday, April 17, 2023 – Summer Wear
Has this past week’s record setting summer temperatures got you in the mood to make some new lighter weight, summer wear to freshen up your wardrobe? If so, then today’s email has ‘got you covered’! (pun unintentionally intended :0)
Over the past few weeks, we have introduced you to five of Berroco’s newest spring/summer yarns, they being…GAIA, SPLASH, SPREE, VINTAGE BABY HANDPAINT and VIVO. In today’s email we will complete the ‘new yarns lineup’ by sharing with you Berroco’s sixth new yarn, MERAKI.
**It’s interesting to note that all of these yarns are of very similar gauge, and therefore could be substituted for each other.**
Because ALL SIX of these yarns are offered via Berroco’s DropShip program, you can order them at ANY time. So if you saw one of these yarns in a previous email that interested you, it can still be ordered, for as long as Berroco has it in stock. About the yarn…
BERROCO MERAKI – a soft yarn made of a gently textured thick and thin hemp and cotton blend. The yarn has a lovely pebbly texture with a very subtle tweed effect that creates a beautiful stonewash look. Its light hand and soft drape make it perfect for easy breezy summer projects.
Meraki comes in 13 cheerful and neutral colours so you can find the perfect shade to suit your style.

Floral crochet motifs adorn this 70s-inspired tank top. Calabash is an openwork crochet top perfect for warm weather. Layer it over tank tops, tees or other summer staples for a retro look.

Cynna is an elegant pullover featuring a cable and lace pattern. The set-in sleeves give it a polished look.
This pullover is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarm, and then divided for back and front. Stitches are picked up around armhole and sleeve cap is shaped using short rows, then sleeves are worked in the round to the cuffs. Stitch pattern is charted.

Dorel features a simple diamond lace yoke motif. Worked from the top down in our most popular silhouette.
Yoke is worked from the top down in the round to underarms, and shaped with short rows, then divided for body and sleeves. Body is worked in the round to lower edge.

Ianthe is a lacey open front crochet cardigan. Breezy enough for those ‘throw on and go’ kind of days.
Cardigan is worked from the bottom up in one piece to the underarm. The body of the sweater is then divided into left front, right front and back, each worked separately to the shoulders. Sleeves are worked separately. Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
