For today’s email, we will be focusing mainly on just one of our newest yarns…Lion Brand JEANS. This yarn has been so popular that we’ve already had to place a reorder that will be arriving this week, along with 3 additional colours.
But be sure to read through to the end of this email for an interesting piece of ‘news’ and a teaser about next week!
We have projects for everyone from baby to child to adult for both Knitters and Crocheters alike. While these patterns are designed to be used with Lion Brand Jeans yarn, if you prefer a different fibre, feel free to choose from any of the following worsted weight (#4) yarns that we have in stock:

Made of 100% premium acrylic, this worsted weight (#4) yarn is very soft to the touch and easy-care.

Once Upon a String is owned and operated by Kourtney (@onceuponastringca), a local artisan that offers handmade, hand stitched, snap on pompoms in carefully selected, quality faux fur fabrics.
Each pompom has a snap pre-sewn to the base, plus a snap that can be sewn to your project - making them easy to remove or change!
Once Upon a String Pompoms: 100% Faux Fur, with metal snaps; available in size small or large; 7 colours choices in stock; $9.98 each.
Don't be fooled by how real they look (& and they DO look real) as they are made completely out of man-made materials. The detail in the faux fur fabric is incredible with subtle highlights of various colours in each pom's tufts. The fabric itself is comprised of varying lengths of fur-like fibre mimicking the depth and texture of the real thing in a variety of animal-like colours. The ‘Fur’ is of very high quality that has a lovely, gentle sheen to it.

Another BYOB(ag) Reminder…
To better support the environment, the planet, and Earth Day, we here at London Yarns are going to eliminate as much plastic as we can and that includes our plastic shopping bags.
As of April 22nd, 2022 we will be PLASTIC (shopping) BAG FREE!
Thus, we highly encourage you to BYOB (Bring Your Own BAG) when you come to the shop.
We have a small supply of paper bags available, both complimentary and a more deluxe version with handles (for a small fee) that you bring back with you and re-use the next time you shop with us.
Of course, we will always encourage you to keep some re-usable bags in your car and bring them in with you so that you will always have one at the ready for your next shopping extravaganza here at the store!
FYI…
As we briefly mentioned at the beginning of today’s email, we have some exciting news to share with you! We are coming up on LYS Day (Local Yarn Store Day). The official date is on Saturday, April 30th. So, in appreciation of YOU, the best customers in the world!! And to thank you for your patronage throughout these crazy past 2 years (we wouldn’t be here without YOU!), we have decided that we are going to make it a week-long event!
