Season’s Greetings Everyone!
Wow, December 20th, 2021 is already here. Only 5 days left until Christmas and only 11 days left until we usher in a brand new year. I cannot believe it is going to be 2022!
I would like to extend a big “thank-you” to all of you, our valued customers for trusting us with all of your “fibre therapy” needs. I can’t thank you enough for your kind words, compliments, support and patronage throughout 2021 regardless of whether you could come into the shop to say “hi”, peek at your colour choices with cupped hands through the front door, or simply pick up your next project sight unseen curb side. Your loyalty and encouragement has been the driving force that has kept all of us going.
At the same time, I would like to thank all of the gals that I work with here at the store. London Yarns would not be what it is without our entire team! My sincere thanks go to Carol, Cheryl, Jen, Judy, Nancy, Patti-Ann, and Terry for all of their hard work and dedication this past year. Every one of them has unique and incredible strengths that I admire and appreciate so very much!
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to both Carol and Cheryl who joined our team this fall. What a great fit they both are into the London Yarns family!
In 2020 - 2021, three of our staff members moved on, so I would like to send my very best wishes out to Cathy and Louise who have, on paper, retired. Cathy will always be about the store, and will always help out in a pinch and Louise is keeping safe and well and has dived into a very intense embroidery course that is consuming much of her time. And last, but certainly not least, we bid farewell to Sherry, my best friend who worked here at the store with me for over 17 years! Sherry is working at Real Canadian Superstore in Strathroy, and has been kept very busy throughout the pandemic helping to keep food on all of our tables!
In closing, I would like to extend my very best wishes to each and every one of you for the upcoming holiday season. I hope you and your families enjoy a relaxing, peaceful holiday, and I wish you health and happiness throughout the New Year, 2022.
