NEW KIT, NEW COLOURS, NEW NOTIONS
Monday, December 13, 2021 – New Kit, New Colours, New Notions
Greetings on this Monday, in the middle of December!
Since this month is zooming along so quickly, it’s time to let you know our upcoming store hours for the next couple of weeks. Then, after that, we have some really fun things to share with you. Be sure to read on until the end so as not to miss out on this week’s exciting, new offerings!
Store Hours
First up is our ‘featured project of the week’. With the purchase of this kit, you will receive a BONUS BALLOT to be entered in this week’s Prize Draw.
Andrea Mowry has done it again, first with Nightshift and now with Inclinations!
Inclinations is a large, beautiful, colourful, wearable shawl! The colour play is engaging and addictive. You just might want to make more than one!
This shawl is all about texture, squish and movement of colour. A mesmerizing knit that will have you saying “just one more row”.
This asymmetrical triangle shawl is knit sideways in Fishermen’s Rib stitch and shaped by increasing along one edge as it is knit.
Our Inclinations Shawl Kits include 6 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash Wave, each a different colour, but coordinating with each other. Many kits follow the two colour, 3-skein fade method recommended by Andrea Mowry.

Note: This kit contains more yarn than is needed to complete the shawl as written, allowing you to enlarge the shawl if desired (sizing instructions are explained in the pattern). Or you might even want to knit a matching hat.
Finished Size, as written: 89” wingspan x 30” depth at centre (easily adjusted to be smaller or larger)
Suggested Needle: 3.75 mm x 80 cm (US 5 x 32”) circular needle, not included in the kit.
**Due to the expansive and squishy nature of Fishermen’s Rib, it is necessary to knit it on smaller needles than you may typically choose for this weight of yarn. (Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.)
