New from Katia yarns…
This mohair comes to us on cones – that means tangle-free use while knitting or crocheting!! These cones are perfect to sit on a yarn spindle!!
These cute little cones weigh just 20 grams but have an impressive yardage of 200 meters. So just imagine how wonderfully light your new cardigan, sweater or scarf will be.
Mohair has such great qualities: it’s soft, heat-regulating and lustrous. The superkid mohair is mixed with wool and polyamide to ensure that although thin and fluffy this yarn is also very durable.
The 50 shades make it fun to play with colour and texture for shawls, sweaters, cowls and more. Use alone, doubled or hold along with any other yarn to add a bit of texture and warmth.

Sock knitting is still the rage. However, more and more sock knitters are returning to using solid colours. Whether it be beautiful jacquard patterns, unique stripes, gorgeous fairisle knitting, trendy colour block patterns, or simply to use for contrasting heels, cuffs and toes, United Socks fits the bill! Presented in 25 gram balls with 24 solid colours to mix & match as you please, you can create all kinds of different colour combinations.
The machine washable wool and nylon blend makes the yarn durable enough for socks, but also soft enough for any Fingering weight (#1) project, from baby items to hats, mitts and scarves to blankets and toys.
** You need 2 balls for a pair of children’s socks and about 4 balls for a pair of adult socks.

WRAPPED IN LUXURY
Wrapped in Luxury is written for use with your choice of yarn in either a Sport/DK (# 3) or Worsted/Aran (# 4). The finished size in both weights of yarn is 20” wide x 56” long (before seaming) & easily adjustable.
The shawl consists of a stocking stitch panel bordered with delicate lace work that adds interest to this beautiful yet functional shawl. It is knit flat in one piece and seamed on one shoulder.
The Wrapped in Luxury shawl (shown above) is knit with one strand each of Katia Air Lux (col. 66) and a lace weight mohair (shown in Drizzle col. 8005 aqua) held together throughout, following the DK weight instructions.
