As the summer slips by, we know that a number of you are very busy! Whether you are cottaging, getting ready for ‘back to school’, taking some last minute holidays, or just sitting in the backyard enjoying the rest of the summer, we know that life keeps us all busy, for sure.
With that in mind, we often find ourselves wanting to make something, but don’t have the ‘uumph’ (Yes! We are calling that a technical term, LOL) or time to put a project together. Sooooo, today’s email is all about ‘Ready-Made Kits’! These Kits are ideal as ‘grab ‘n go’ projects because the patterns have already been matched with the ideal yarns and the colours have been pre-selected; so all we have to do is order our favourite kit colour and then cast on!
All of the Kits offered in today’s email are part of the DropShip program which is great because it gives us the opportunity to work with even more of a variety of yarns than we can stock. We can order these kits on your behalf and once they arrive at the store, you may pick them up in-person or curbside. We also offer local courier delivery (for a small fee) or we can ship your kit to you.

Irina Poludnenko’s Two Way Top is charming in Noro’s self-striping Silk Garden Lite! Knit completely in garter stitch with an interesting construction that compliments the yarn and creates an attractive, figure flattering top.
After the sideways-knit yoke is completed, the curved bodice band is picked up and knit. The waistband sections, also knit side to side, are shaped to complete the piece.

I did end up holding the Aerial Color along with Remix Chunky since it is so lightweight on its own. (I also knew these two yarns are lovely together – the Arrowsic shawl which is made with Aerial and Remix Light is an office favorite!) There are increases or decreases when joining each new yarn to make up for the difference in gauge. Use any leftover yarn to make some fun tassels!
