NEW YARN, NEW COLOURS
Monday, May 3, 2021 – New Yarn, New Colours
Under the current ‘stay at home’ restrictions, we are still OPEN for CURBSIDE PICKUP and delivery, accepting payment over the phone, but we cannot accept ‘TAP’ at the door nor offer ‘curbside window shopping’ until the ‘stay at home’ order is lifted. In today’s email, we are featuring two exquisite DK weight (#3), self-patterning, cotton-blend yarns; both are scrumptious, Italian made yarns that are sure not to disappoint.
Our featured yarns are MARMEL by Ella Rae (in-stock, with NEW COLOURS) and MEDINA by Berroco (to order via DropShip). Along with these two yarns, we are highlighting six spring & summer projects to accompany them (patterns are free with yarn purchase).
You may choose either of the two featured yarns to complete the projects, or choose from ANY of our other DK weight (#3) yarns.
**Plus, if you keep reading, there is a SURPRISE later on in this email!! I’ll give you a hint…we’ve got a BRAND NEW, in-stock cotton yarn to share with you.
First, let’s get acquainted with our two featured yarns…
Marmel is an old English word for “marble”; well named, Marmel is a fantastic DK weight yarn, with new colours, made from an easy care blend of cotton and acrylic. Marmel is a gradual, self-striping yarn with a cobblestone or “marbled” effect. The fabric produced has a slight ‘thick & thin’, nubbly texture. The beautiful colour variations are produced by two colour-changing plies that create variance between marled and barber pole colourings. An ideal yarn for all types of garments and all season wear! Made in Italy.
NEW COLOURS…The expanded colour range now includes ELEVEN shades! (Colours 10 to 15 are the new colours.)
