Today’s email is highlighting MODERN COTTON DK - one of Berroco’s most popular cotton blend, summer weight yarns, and we have collected a number of projects to share that feature this yarn – some patterns are offered as free downloads, some patterns are to purchase.

Modern Cotton DK
This machine washable, DK weight (#3) yarn is a fantastic blend of Pima cotton and Modal rayon, beautifully twisted to insure stitch definition, to showcase stitch patterns and it has a lovely soft hand with a bit of drape. The rayon content brings softness and sheen to this cotton-blend yarn. Modern Cotton DK is dyed in a palette of sophisticated neutrals, gentle pastel and some cheerful brights, for a total of 31 glorious shades! Reasonably priced, with ample yardage, this will soon become your ‘go to’ yarn for all your spring & summer projects. Made in Peru.

This sleeveless tank is quick to knit and comfortable to wear, made with Berroco Modern Cotton DK. Worked in pieces and seamed at the sides. The back of this knitted tank is worked in an allover stitch pattern from a simple chart, while the front panel is knit in stocking stitch to accentuate the same eyelet motif that mirrors the back.
