The Line Art shawl is a beautiful asymmetrical triangular shawl, worked from point to edge (increasing every row on one edge, and decreasing every other row on the opposite edge). Squiggles of colour are added using German Short Rows in garter stitch (the technique is explained in the pattern) for added texture, and fun pops of colour throughout! This pattern plays with both colour and texture to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind shawl.

The Shift cowl is a bandana cowl with a very interesting construction. It is worked from one corner towards the cast off edge, and then seamed at the back. Perfect for beginners or those who prefer to work on a pair of needles instead of knitting in the round! Both edges feature an I-cord detail, as well as an I-cord cast-off. The colourwork is a simple slip-stitch motif, meaning you only ever use one colour at a time. Also perfect for beginners!
The kits we have put together feature a BRAND NEW, in-stock, summer weight yarn called BAMBOO POP DK, making this cowl comfortable enough to wear year ‘round.

We have seven different kit options, and each option offers you a choice of which solid colour you prefer. There is plenty of yarn with each ball, so there may be enough for you to rearrange your colours and knit a second one!
The yarn we chose for this kit is Bamboo Pop DK, a silky 50/50 blend of cotton and bamboo (vegan-friendly, and great for those that cannot tolerate animal fibres against their skin) and it has a beautiful sheen. A perfect accessory for those cool spring, summer, and fall evenings where you need just a little something around your neck or to cover your shoulders.
Jen knit her Shift Cowl with Kit 7: A Sunday Kind of Love, and chose 116 Royal as her main colour to go with 208 Pink Joy and 303 Princess Dots.
Each Kit Includes:

LIMITED EDITION KITS!!
The Laurel Jumper is a top-down pullover knit in one piece, starting with 2x2 ribbing at the neckline, some simple short rows to raise the back compared to the front (these can be omitted if you wish), then a simple, all-over colourwork motif. Sleeve stitches are put on a holder to continue the body, and then the sleeves are worked down, in the round, towards the cuff. The pattern is exceptionally well-written, and available in a large variety of sizes.
**Please note that due to yarn availability, some kit options are only available in certain sizes.
Sweater kits include all of the yarn you need to knit the sweater! The main colour is a solid colour fingering weight yarn, and the contrast colour, used for the colourwork sections, is a slow colour-changing yarn.
**NOTE: When you purchase your kit, please let us know what size you will be knitting! This will ensure that you will have enough yarn in the kit to make your desired size.

LIMITED EDITION, ONE OF A KIND KITS!!
The Patchwork Fields shawl is a beautiful heart-shaped triangular shawl, worked from top to bottom. The heart-shape gives it a nice curve at the top edge, letting it sit more naturally on the shoulders and prevents the shawl from slipping or falling off. The contrasting textures and colours are used in simple intarsia to create a graphic, colour-blocked shawl. The Drizzle yarn is held single, on its own, to really emphasize the difference in texture between it and the Socknado yarn, and each colour of Drizzle was carefully chosen to compliment the accompanying skein of highly variegated fingering-weight yarn. This pattern plays with both colour and texture to create a truly unique, one-of-a-kind shawl.

This shawl was designed by a Canadian, and all kits feature Canadian yarns: Sugarbush is headquartered in Listowel, Ontario, and Ancient Arts Yarns is in Calgary, Alberta. In keeping with the “Canadian theme”, we have put together 13 kits, one representing each province and territory, and named after cities that they are meant to represent.
