Here is a very striking, fun, mosaic knit Throw…
Not your grandma’s afghan! This fun & funky striped geometric throw, worked in simple mosaic colourwork, is a modern twist on the classic granny blanket.
Mosaic colourwork means that you work with only ONE colour per row…and that means NO floats and NO fairisle knitting!
Two contrasting colours are used throughout. Choose from any number of colour combinations from just two colours throughout or up to 20 colours for the worsted weight throw! Use the same two colours for each section or choose a different colour for every section - the possibilities are truly endless!!

The Best Friends Stuffies patterns are designed by our very own Judy Turner as part of our in-house design team for Dragonpine Designs. And, all of the Best Friends Stuffies are created with interchangeable clothing for mixing and matching.
Judy’s ‘Best Friends Stuffies’ patterns are written with line by line instructions (no charts) and include pictures of each piece of the outfit, showing both the fronts and backs of each item.

Lace, stripes, picot edging….the Ciri Shawl has it all!

This asymmetrical, boomerang-shaped shawl is worked on the bias, beginning at the smallest point and slowly increases to the widest edge. It features swaths of lace in the main colour, interrupted by garter stitch stripes that are worked with the contrast colour and finished off with a delicate crochet picot bind-off edging.
