These pretty white porcelain cups have a knitted cosy with wooden button closure. Choose from 4 cosy colours - light pink, mauve, blue and green.

Washing: remove the cosy before washing the mug; mug is dishwasher safe. The cosy should be hand washed.

BLOCKING WIRES
Blocking Wires - Sold Individually
Simply slip the wire through the edges of your project and place pins along the inside of the wires to hold them in place while blocking. If you have scalloped edges you will want to slip the wire through the outer edges of your scallops to emphasize them. Follow the same rules as pin or string blocking by measuring the radius of your finished piece as you adjust the wires.
All wires are stainless steel and rust proof, approximately 34” long. The first time you use your blocking wires, wipe them with a soft cloth to remove manufacturing residue. $2.98 each (+tax).
Each tube consists of 6 wires of 37.5” each, 6 wires of 19.5” each, 3 flexible wires of 37.5” each, 1, 60” measuring tape and 20 T-pins. The storage tube is made of extremely durable PVC pipe that is great for safe and compact storage that prevents damage to the wires. All wires are stainless steel and rust resistant. $44.98 per set (+tax).

A Special Note from Janet…
“Throughout the last few months, we have featured articles in our weekly email newsletter about the The Covid-19 Memorial Blanket Project.
Thankfully, to date, I have not lost anyone to this terrible virus. I decided that I would participate in this project to honour some of my family members and friends who have worked diligently throughout this pandemic. I hope they all stay safe and healthy.
In the photo below, you will see my 5 completed squares. The 4 solid coloured ones will go to the Memorial Blanket itself; all of them are knit out of Berroco Vintage (the yarn of choice for the art installation blanket), and the 5th striped square knit from my leftovers will be sent to the project coordinators and will be assembled into smaller throws and lap blankets distributed to those in need (see mailing address below).
The Aquae Colour #5125 has been chosen by the project coordinators to represent and honour front line workers in this blanket.

This square I dedicate to the hard work of my cousin Kim Marsh, Ontario healthcare worker. Kim works with the elderly in Toronto, Ontario.
Berroco Vintage Square 4 (Colour #5189 Charcoal)
This square I dedicate to the hard work of my best friend Sherry Krzyzowski, Ontario grocery store associate. As well as working here at London Yarns, Sherry works at Real Canadian Superstore in Strathroy, Ontario.
These 5 squares were knit using 3 skeins of Berroco Vintage and I still had a sizeable amount of the Aquae colour left over that would be perfect for another striped square.
We have a HUGE selection of Berroco’s Vintage Worsted here in the store. Choose from any of the 88 current colours as shown on our new shade cards just recently photographed by my husband Darrell.
I enjoyed making the easy-to-knit squares and becoming a part of a historical Canadian project and I hope you will as well.
