We are still OPEN for CURBSIDE PICKUP and delivery, as usual.
In case you missed the email we sent out on January 14th regarding the new lockdown update, here is a brief recap…Overall the latest lockdown does not affect how we have been conducting business.
However there is one small, temporary concession that we’ve had to make. Until this current lockdown is over, we can no longer offer ‘through the window shopping’ or ‘tap’ payment at the door (all orders must be pre-paid prior to pickup). Today’s email has a little bit of everything thrown in the mix! We received some new shipments last week, which means that our shelves are filling in nicely and that we get to introduce you to a couple new yarns that we’ve brought in, along with some restocking too.
And, we will also share some fun projects to inspire you, most of them are free patterns! That means that you can use the savings to put toward your yarn purchases and treat yourself to that special skein or two that you’ve had your eye on.

**Although this yarn is considered a worsted weight, feel free to experiment with your choice of needle sizes. The smaller the needle size, the tighter you’re scrubby and conversely, the larger the needle size, the looser it will be…it’s totally up to you and your preference. Here are a few Angora Lace projects that just might tempt you to work with this new, limited edition yarn.
Knit in Angora Lace yarn, Verbena is lightweight and luxurious. Graceful lace and an asymmetrical shape come together in the Verbena shawl to create an accessory you’ll love to wear.
Verbena is worked flat from the bottom up, beginning at the widest edge. First, a lace section is worked even, and then stitches are gradually decreased to the point.

This beautiful hat features mesmerizing colourwork using an interesting colour combination. Each repeat points upward, eventually coming together at the crown and creating a star motif. The colour repeats are easy to memorize and addictive to knit. Although the hat is knit up at a fine gauge, we're sure you'll complete it in no time at all!
Worked in the round from the bottom up, and only two colours are used in each round. For your convenience the stitch patterns are both written and charted.
