But wait! Aren’t we under a government lockdown?!
Even in this current lockdown, non-essential businesses are allowed to be open for CURBSIDE PICKUP and delivery! We have been operating this way since we reopened in May. We are well rehearsed at curbside pickup, and are ready to provide you with all of your year end fibre-therapy needs! Our yarns, notions, and accessories are listed on our website with prices and quantities available. To place an order, give us a call (519-474-0403) or drop us an email.

As a ‘year end THANK YOU’ for all your kind words of encouragement & continued support, we want to ‘pay it forward’, so to speak, by sharing with you a few FREE patterns in today’s email...the last one of this year!

NOTE: If you want to view any of the shade cards for the suggested project yarns, just click on the name of the yarn. And if you would like to purchase or order yarn to complete a project or two, please call us (519-474-0403) or email us with the project name, name of yarn, colour numbers and how many balls or skeins you need.

First up are a couple free patterns from our ‘new best friends’ at Berroco…

Using Millefiori and Vintage in a gorgeous, fairisle colourwork yoke, we know that the Langley Pullover may jump to the top of your "must make" list! The beauty of using a self-patterning yarn as the contrast colour is that the yarn does the work for you! No need to use multiple colours throughout the yoke!!

Ancient Arts has created a brand new pattern, pairing two very different yarns together with the creativity of brioche...again, some things are just ‘better together’!

Inspired by walks through the beautiful snowy countryside, this cowl features a contrast in both colours and thickness of yarn, bringing two very different yarns together with the magic of brioche stitch to create a fabric that is gorgeous on both sides. Worked back and forth in rows and joined with your choice of seaming or a three needle cast-off, the Winter Wonderland cowl will keep you stylish and warm all winter long.

The contrast of the two yarns go together are like a drift of fluffy snowflakes (only much warmer) and together, in this enchanting cowl, they create a Winter Wonderland!

‘BETTER TOGETHER’

“Peaches and cream, peanut butter and jelly, Laverne and Shirley, Han and Chewy... I think we all can agree that sometimes things go better together than apart.

This year we've had a lot of fun combining our yarns in many of our latest designs, like the Spencer cardigan seen above. We love how well they can complement each other. A beautiful soft halo mixed with nubby texture for ebb and flow of colour, one idea is made better with the other. We encourage you to have fun exploring holding yarns together and we promise you may never want to go solo again!” – Berroco
