Today’s email includes two hats, two pairs of mitts, a scarf, a ‘Ruana wrap’ & a cardigan…won’t we be well dressed for winter?!?
But first, a couple of announcements…
A Special Message from Janet:
Hello to all of you on this 21st day of December. It is hard to believe that Christmas is only 4 days away and that the New Year 2021 is just around the corner! Please watch your in-boxes later on this week as I will be sending out my annual Christmas email offering up holiday wishes and thanks to all of you as well as sharing a story or two!
Today marks the Winter Solstice, and we will experience the least amount of daylight hours of any other day in the year. Ironically, on this darker of days, an announcement will be made this afternoon by our Government outlining the Provincial Lockdown that is potentially looming to be put in place later in the week. Unless new changes are announced regarding the “grey zone” rules and restrictions, we plan to carry on doing business just as we have been doing ever since the store re-opened in May. If anything changes, we will be back in touch through our web-site, email, voice mail messages, and social media to keep you informed.
With this in mind, please take note of our proposed store hours over the next 2 weeks as shown in the calendar below. I don’t think I can remember the last time we enjoyed 4 days off in a row over the Christmas holidays. Knitting here I come!

This week’s DropShip project from Berroco…
Piave is a cozy, lightweight cardigan for those long cold winter nights. Let the colour change in Aero do all the work in this simple stockinette design.

Oxbow is a simple scarf knit side-to-side in garter stitch with two colours of Berroco Aero.
