This week’s offerings include projects both big and small that range from hat kits to garments to an oversized shawl that will keep you cozy! And, of course, Berroco’s DropShip yarn feature, including two free patterns, available with yarn purchase. And, so…let’s get to it!

Enchanting and mesmerizing, Lumiere offers luminescent and variegated colour combinations in each ball. As the colours blend from one to the next, Knitters and Crocheters alike will get lost for hours with the hypnotic hues and the soft and delicate hand of Lumiere.
This worsted weight, self-striping yarn is spun as a single-ply with a composition of 50% Wool, and 50% Acrylic that makes it easy to knit with and incredibly soft to the touch. It has fantastic stitch definition and memory; a superb choice for shawls, throws, hats, sweaters and accessories.
These kits are perfect for knitting Estelle’s new “Basic Beanie” hat pattern, designed by Trish Campbell. The Basic Beanie pattern is free to download.

The Toph Hat is a very unique, sideways-knit hat in solid garter stitch with a few short rows for shaping, and some decreases at the crown. It is knit in 2 contrasting colours (one for the “leaves” and the other as the background). We have put together 72 POSSIBILITIES for you using the Cascade 220 Superwash Waves colourways. You could use one skein of the 220 Waves, and one skein of regular Cascade 220 in a Solid or Heather to complete the hat. It is your choice which yarn you use for which section! Have fun and let your creativity run wild :) If you choose to put together your own pairing, you’re more than welcome to do so! This ingenious pattern was designed by Woolly Wormhead, and the pattern includes links to video tutorials on how to successfully complete all of the techniques required in this hat!

Woolly Wormhead’s Elemental hat collection is full of sideways-knit hats using the same weight of yarn at the same gauge. Like the idea, but not necessarily this particular pattern?
