The simple front of this knitted pullover belies the surprise feature in the back—two pieces that are crossed for an elegant wrap effect. The body is knit from the top down, showing off the lovely fabric of Berroco Quinoa, before the shoulder pieces and bottom edges are sewn together. Easy cap sleeves are picked up and knit down.

Elegant in its simplicity, this short-sleeve pullover knitting pattern lets the unique fabric of the yarn shine. The fabric of Berroco Quinoa in reverse stockinette stitch is framed with simple eyelet columns at the shoulders. Stitch pattern is charted.

Thick-and-thin cotton is wrapped up with a nylon binder to create a slightly pebbled texture in Berroco Quinoa. Contrasting shades of cotton blended with the lighter nylon thread add a marled appearance for a unique fabric that creates lightweight tops, pullovers and accessories. Made in Italy.

Casapinka is running a brand new Mystery Knit-A-Long!
Casapinka and her beloved feline co-worker, Sharon from Security, are hosting a Mystery Knit-A-Long (MKAL), called The Sharon Show. Apparently Sharon has done much (most?) of the designing!
This is guaranteed to be a fun knit, with lots and lots of Cat-itude! The start date for the MKAL is August 7th and one clue is released each week for 6 weeks. Check out Casapinka's Ravelry page for full details. The pre-clue is now available with a schematic for colour planning. Once you purchase the pre-clue, you will be automatically emailed every time a new clue comes out, and any updates that Sharon From Security may choose to send.

The Sharon Show MKAL is available to purchase as a Ravelry In-Store Download! Just ask and we would be happy to purchase the MKAL on your behalf through Ravelry and all the clues will be emailed to you.
The Project: a rectangular shawl, using 4 skeins of contrasting fingering weight yarn. Each skein should be approx. 320m (350 yds). The recommended needle size is 3.5mm & 4 mm (US 4 & 6), and should be at least 24” long. The gauge is 22 stitches over 4” in stockinette and after blocking.
The Pattern: $7.00 USD (Not included with the yarn kits)
Difficulty: Beginner - there will be two versions of the shawl, Absolute Beginner, and Advanced Beginner. There will be a number of different stitch patterns, none of which will be difficult. It is the colour combinations that will give this shawl its STAR power.
Kits and Colour Choices: to make your colour choices stress-free, Ancient Arts has developed some new colours and carefully curated THREE yarn kits for us! They are offering the kits on their luxurious Little Nettle Soft fingering weight yarn, which is a scrumptious blend of 68% SW Merino and 32% Nettle. This results in a yarn that will give your garments beautiful drape, lustre, and stitch definition. Nettle is wrinkle resistant (wrinkles will hang out), it is breathable and temperature regulating, and it is beautiful and stronger than a fine wool. When nettle (plant fibre) is combined with wool (animal fibre), it adds strength and shine. When the yarn is dyed, the nettle does not take up the dye with the same intensity as the merino, and this results in a lovely soft “heathering” effect.

Alternative Colour Choices:
If you want to put your own colours together, Casapinka recommends CONTRAST! You can use all solids (or heathers), a speckled and a variegated, if desired (or all speckles if you want) in the set but they HAVE TO CONTRAST. All of your colours should have some contrast.
