HUG SHOT SHAWL
Casapinka is offering her latest shawl design, “Hug Shot”, FREE to those who buy yarn from participating Local Yarn Stores (LYS) and Dyers to knit it. This is an amazing way to help LYS's and Dyers weather the pandemic and you, our LYS customers, really do make a difference!
Hug Shot is an asymmetric triangle (or “boomerang”) shape shawl that is rhythmic and repetitive to knit, and uses two complimentary or contrasting colours. The shawl is cast on at the small end and works toward a wide border at the opposite end. The shawl is knit with slipped stitches, garter stitch and stockinette stitch, making it a fairly easy project; suitable for intermediate beginners.
Here is how the promo works:
- Purchase yarn for this shawl at London Yarn this week, from Tuesday, June 2nd to Saturday, June 6th.
- With your yarn purchase, we will include the information you need for your project, along with a Ravelry coupon code and instructions on how to redeem your code to receive the Hug Shot pattern FREE of charge.
- Coupon codes must be redeemed between June 5 - 7, 2020. Before June 5th, the code will not work and after June 7th the code expires.

Fingering Weight yarn: min. 732 mtrs (800 yds) total yardage
Color A (solid) – min. 365 mtrs (400 yds)
Color B (speckled or variegated) – min. 365 mtrs (400 yds)
4 mm x 60 cm (US 6 x 24”) knitting needles (the shawl is knit flat – using circular needles allows ease of knitting due to the number of stitches on the needle.)
Gauge: 23 stitches = 4 inches in Stockinette after blocking
Size: 15" deep by 78" at neck edge

Each and every kit is an exclusive ‘OOAK’ (One-of-a-Kind) – not to be repeated or replicated! So, that means the kit & colour choices will be on a ‘first come, first serve basis’, making YOUR shawl a unique and distinctive masterpiece of your very own.
Each kit is numbered and lists the yarn’s name, colour, and price. Please use the Kit number for ordering. There are 5 wool-free kits listed on the last two pages, Kits # 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F & 5F.
While reviewing the Kits colour options, it might be a good idea to choose a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd pick, in case someone chooses the same kit ahead of you.

Have you heard of Berroco’s “DropShip Project of the Week” program? Previously it was only offered in the United States, B-U-T, Berroco has graciously made allowance to include us! YEAH!! The DropShip program is a perfect opportunity to work with yarns that we don’t normally stock.
This week Berroco is featuring, not one, but TWO projects using their Farro yarn, a lovely blend of 80% cotton and 20% nylon – a perfect summery, DK weight yarn.
