Monday, May 18/20 – Curbside Pick-Up Week 2
Well, we’re ‘off to the races’! With week one completed and behind us, things are running a little more smoothly now and we are ‘back in the groove’ of the “new normal”, so to speak.
Currently our store hours are:
Tuesday to Saturday, from 12 noon until 4 pm
Closed on Sunday & Monday
You can view our yarns on our website and now many of our notions are online as well, with prices, quantities available and colour options.
We thank you for cooperating with us and respecting our Curbside Pick-Up procedures. If in doubt, a quick review of how things run might be helpful.
RE-OPENING UPDATE FROM JANET:
Greetings Everyone!
As the Province continues to try to balance health and safety with re-starting the economy, it leaves us with tough decisions to make. It was announced last week that retail stores could re-open if their premise opened directly to the outside. Although we qualify in that regard, I have to ensure the safety and health of all customers and staff. I don’t believe the layout of our store is conducive to re-opening to the public just yet. Ours is a tactile business... you can’t coat yarn in sanitizer! (If you can find sanitizer, that is!!)
For now, we will continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery to all of you. Please review our store hours, and the days we are open for business, as mentioned above, as well as our policies for safe curbside pickup.
From the very beginning of this pandemic, my sole concern has been that of health and safety for all. I will be closely monitoring the situation in the days ahead hoping that the spread of this virus continues on a downward slope even as we start to open up Ontario’s economy.
Again, I wish safety and good health for all of you.

Revisiting a staff favourite…
Now that we have our in-stock yarn inventories shown on our website, making it easier to shop from home, we want to share this free ‘Comfort Shawl’ pattern with you. It is easy to place your order by phone at 519-474-0403 or email and then your parcel is ready to go – using either curbside pick-up, local London courier or shipping via Canada Post.

The stitch pattern is simple and easy to memorize and can be used with ANY weight of yarn!
The pattern, as written, calls for chunky weight yarn and Janet knit hers with one ball each of Marble Chunky and Marble Chunky Glamour.
But if you fall in love with another colourway in a different weight of yarn on our website, feel free to use that yarn with this pattern too – keeping in mind that you will want to adjust your needle size and stitch count accordingly.
