About Zen Yarn Garden ...
Zen Yarn Garden, Inc. is based in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada and run full time by husband and wife team, Roxanne and Neville Yeun. They take great pride in providing the most luxurious fibres available for their yarns and hand-dyeing them in a range of beautiful multi, semi-solid, splatter and one-of-a-kind (OOAK) colourways.
Zen Yarn Garden yarn is special! They know that every hank we buy is destined to have many hours in our stash and on our needles before it becomes a garment or accessory item that we will wear proudly. With each skein, they strive to reflect the same passion that we have for our projects and crafts in their yarns. They start by creating very best base yarns to give us the best materials to work with. All of the yarn bases are made out of natural fibres (with the exception of those where a bit of nylon is added), milled in Italy and Canada and spun to their exact specifications with the fibre content, structure and makeup carefully designed by Zen’s Creative Director, Roxanne Yeun in consultation with the mill. Zen selects superfine Merino for softness and ‘next to skin’ wear, adding fibres such as cashmere and silk to make their bases extra luxurious. These natural fibres serve another purpose: they give the dyers a wonderful canvas to dye on, allowing for saturated colours and unique applications.

SENENITY 20 – Fingering Weight

‘Crisp, squishy, lovely’, that well describes Serenity 20 from Zen Yarn Garden. Serenity 20 is made of ultra soft, superwash merino with a generous 20% of luxurious, ultrafine cashmere. Spun with 3-plies for durability and with the addition of just 10% nylon to give it strength and fluidity, and of course, makes it the perfect sock yarn. Dyed in rich, deep colourways with a gentle sheen and a very subtle halo. Treat yourself to a decadently soft and velvety smooth shawl made from Serenity 20!
SERENITY SILK+ – Light Fingering Weight

Stunning colours! Zen Yarn Garden Serenity Silk + is a magnificent blend of particularly soft superwash merino, lavish cashmere and the addition of silk contributes both strength & a subtle sheen, adding to the magnificently saturated, hand-dyed colours that you have to see to believe! Serenity Silk+ has crisp stitch definition, yet creates a fabric with excellent drape and is a dream to work with. Each skein offers a generous 500 yards that enables many ‘one skein projects’! A special treat indeed!!
SERENITY DK

Serenity DK is a soft, lush 2-ply superwash merino, with a hint of cashmere that's a joy to the touch. This yarn holds stitch definition well; Serenity DK is hand-dyed in rich, deep colourways that have an almost pearly glow.
SUPERFINE GLITTER – Fingering Weight

Superfine Glitter is a shimmery, luxurious fingering weight yarn. Rich, hand-dyed colourways are perfectly harmonized with coordinating Sparkling Nylon, adding just the right touch of subtle glitter & a hint of sparkle, shimmer and shine for a look that is both eye-catching and elegant! Superfine Glitter makes astonishingly gorgeous shawls, scarves, and yes, even socks too!!

Superfine Fingering is spun with a bit of nylon added to the Superfine Merino for structure and strength. The superfine merino spin is also softer than most merinos and a joy to work with! Not only is it durable for socks, but is also ideal to use for an exquisite heirloom scarf, cowl or shawl.
SERENITY LACE
Yardage: 960 mtrs / 1050 yds / 100 grams
Tension: Lace Weight
Fibre Content: 90% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere
Care: Hand/Machine Wash, Flat Dry
Made in Canada, Dyed in Canada; Spun with 2-plies
Serenity Lace is a beautiful 2-ply lace weight yarn. Merino wool, blended with an added touch of cashmere, creates a delightfully soft, lightweight fabric. Beautifully dyed colours will help create an elegant lace shawl, scarf or garment.
LUX BLANX
Lux Blanx are made from soft, squishy, luxurious Serenity Silk+ and pre-knit, single stranded, into fabric and then dyed into 12 unique colourways for you to knit or crochet from! Each blank is individually hand-dyed so no two are exactly alike. Lux Blanx weigh a generous 150 grams, which means you have 750 yards to work with!
