Each has their own unique advantages. We will be there to answer any questions you may have.

We are very excited to offer you a brand new Mystery Knit-A-Long (MKAL)!!! Are you excited?!?!?! This all new 2019 Mystery Knit-A-Long is going to be fun-Fun-FUN and unique, too! 
MKAL – ‘A Trio of Hats’
- 6 weeks
- 3 hats
- 3 different construction techniques
- 3 weights of yarn
Each hat has a different construction technique, a different style, and each hat in the trio uses a different weight of yarn. Mystery Hat “A” will consist of 3 clues, Mystery Hat “B” will consist of 2 clues, and finally, Mystery Hat “C” will be one single clue – a total of 6 clues, which will be sent out weekly by email, on Thursday’s, starting Feb. 7th. The complete printed patterns (included in the cost) will be purchased from Ravelry and sent to you by email at the end of the MKAL.
The MKAL registration fee of $90 includes: 6 weekly clues, all yarn needed to complete all 3 hats & 3 purchased Ravelry patterns.

“BAA-ble” Hat
Two 2-hour Sessions

Are you new to colourwork knitting? Or do you want to practise & hone your Fairisle knitting skills? Then this hat is an ideal project for you! Students will be knitting in the round using circular and/or double pointed needles and will learn & practise colourwork knitting using the “Stranded Fairisle” knitting technique, along with chart reading and decreasing while keeping pattern correct, among others skills.
This was the official pattern for Shetland Wool Week 2015, an event held every year in Shetland to celebrate Shetland wool and its associated crafts. Knit in a worsted weight yarn at a fairly tight gauge, this is a warm and cosy hat, good for keeping your ears warm from the winter’s wind!

Sock knitting has dominated the knitting world for the past several years and will continue to do so for many years to come. Don’t be afraid to dive into your first pair of socks! We will guide you through every step of the way from casting on and knitting the leg, completing your heel flap, turning the heel, knitting the foot and grafting the toe. Soon you will be turning heels and tapering toes like a pro! Warning: Knitting socks is highly contagious! Once you start, you can’t stop. You simply can’t just make one! (pair, that is).

CABLED COWL
One 2-hour Session
Cost: $55 (includes yarn & pattern)
Date & Time: Tuesday, February 12/19 from 1 pm – 3 pm

Practice your cables with this beautiful Cowl. It knits up quickly using a chunky weight yarn. The cowl length is easily adjusted, as it is knit flat, casting on the width and knitting up to the finished length. Skills learned in this class include a crocheted provisional cast on, cabling, picking up stitches from waste yarn and 3-needle cast off. But don’t be intimidated – this Cowl looks more complicated than it really is!

THIS CLASS IS PERFECT FOR ALL BEGINNER KNITTERS & THOSE THAT WANT TO IMPROVE UPON THEIR KNITTING SKILLS
Lately we have had loads of requests to do a workshop on fixing mistakes. Well here it is! This hands-on class will not only teach you how to deal with all kinds of “knitting disasters” like dropped and twisted stitches and un-picking one or many rows, but will also deal with things like; “how do I know what row of my pattern I’m on” and “Oh-No! All of the stitches fell off of my needle! What do I do? And “Oh-No! The phone rang, I set down my knitting and now I don’t know how to start up again! So often customers tell us that they unravelled all of their knitting and started over simply because they didn’t have the skills to fix their mistake; Oh My! Never again after this workshop! Simply put, all beginner knitters can benefit from taking this class.

With sock knitting being all the rage, let’s experiment with different ways of knitting them. Toe up socks are easy to do, and if you think about it, make a whole lot of sense. By knitting your socks from the toe up, you can be guaranteed a perfect fit because you can try them on as you go AND, more importantly, if you are running shy on yarn, you are guaranteed of getting at least both of your feet knit – no more different coloured toes! Basically your yarn supply will determine whether you are making ankle socks or knee socks! The great thing about this workshop, other than knitting socks, of course, is that you will learn a wonderful new cast-on, a new way to turn a heel, and a neat new way to cast-off; and, you guessed it… you don’t need to graft the toes when you are finished!
