Monday, June 11/18 – Greeting Cards for Yarn Lovers
Greetings Fellow Fibre Enthusiasts!!
Today we are featuring Handcrafted Greeting Cards, made especially with Yarn Lovers in mind.
What better way to send a caring note, a cheery thought, a ‘thinking of you’ or any other kind of salutation to a friend who shares a love of all things ‘yarny’?!?
Or, the card itself can be given as a thoughtful gift to a Fellow Fibre Enthusiast and let them ‘pay it forward’ by sending a greeting to someone they care about.
May we introduce a new line of Greeting Cards “JO OF THE WOODS” by fellow Ontario-ian Jo Crivellaro.
Jo is a naturalist who ‘lives off the grid’ so to speak in the Frontenac Area (north of Kingston) and has chosen to live without electricity since the year 2000! She makes a lovely line of Handcrafted Greeting Cards that we now have in stock and available for purchase.
Each card features a hand knit item & knitting ‘needles’ with decorative etched ends and a hand stitched zig-zag border on the card.
All cards are blank inside and come nicely presented in a protective clear cellophane package along with an envelope included.

Local London area Photographer, Darrell Filipchuk (Janet’s husband) has created his own line of Greeting Cards channeling his passion for taking shots of nature; birds, wildlife, fauna and flora. Perhaps you have already seen his cards at London Yarns? Well, Darrell has expanded his muse to include, of all things – YARN! Yeah for us!!
He has used his creativity to stage some really cute & some very pretty ‘Yarn’ themed greeting cards - a dozen in all!! The Greeting Cards are blank inside, making them suitable for many occasions; envelope is included & both are neatly packaged in clear cellophane wrapping. The 4” x 6” photograph on the front of the card is removable, so it can be framed & enjoyed for years to come.
