With today officially being the “First Day of Spring”, let us share with you some Spring oriented yarns. Today, we are featuring 3 lightweight, Cotton Blend yarns that are ideal for warmer weather – visualize ... summer tees, cardis, shawls, cowls & accessories.

SPRING RAINBOW Yarn Cakes from Katia
Spring Rainbow is a beautiful gradient yarn made of a cotton/acrylic blend with an amazing 600 metres per ball!! The cotton/acrylic combination makes for an excellent quality yarn, very light with a soft touch, ideal for comfortable, cool garments and perfect for ‘next to the skin’ projects.
Spring Rainbow has an innovative degrade effect thanks to its 4 loosely twined strands. Each of the 4 strands has its own subtle, gradient colour change that alternate in a progressive transition of colour to produce the ‘rainbow’ colour transition effect.
And, here’s a ‘fun fact’ that is also ingenious…Each ball of Spring Rainbow starts and finishes with the same colour. So that means if you need to join a second or third ball, it will start & continue in the exact same colour transitions as the first ball!! No need to “find the colour repeat”, it’s already done for you – YEAH!!
With an adaptable suggested tension of 21 sts/4”, this yarn is suitable for many DK and/or Worsted weight patterns. And will also make the most beautiful scarves, wraps and shawls.
