Well, a ‘Good Monday Morning’ to you all!
Just a quick reminder that the store is closed today, Monday, October 10th for Thanksgiving.
We know this is a busy day for many of you, so today’s email will be short, yet sweet J
It’s that time of the year … to dig out your warm ‘woolly’ socks! If you are not yet a Sock Knitter, now is your chance to learn this new skill and have the enjoyment of wearing your very own Hand-made Socks! Not only are they fun to make, but they are also VERY comfortable to wear. Will you join Louise for this class & begin a new passion for knitting socks?
We can register in person at the store or you may call us at 519-474-0403 with your payment information to register over the phone.
BEGINNER’S SOCKS
Four 1.5-hour Sessions
Cost: $85 (Yarn & Pattern Included)
Dates & Times:
Session 1: Saturday, October 22/16 from 10 am – 11:30 am
Session 2: Saturday, November 5/16 from 10 am – 11:30 am
Session 3: Saturday, November 12/16 from 10 am – 11:30 am
Session 4: Saturday, November 19/16 from 10 am – 11:30 am

Sock knitting has dominated the knitting world for the past several years and will continue to do so for many years to come. Don’t be afraid to dive into your first pair of socks! We will guide you through every step of the way from casting on and knitting the leg, completing your heel flap, turning the heel, knitting the foot and grafting the toe. Soon you will be turning heels and tapering toes like a pro! Warning: Knitting socks is highly contagious! Once you start, you can’t stop. You simply can’t just make one! (pair, that is).

Pre-Requisite: Knowledge of Knit & Purl Stitches
Keep an eye for upcoming emails with new classes, some favourite classes rescheduled, new Fall yarns (including a whole BRAND NEW yarn line!!), and the start of our 25th anniversary celebrations.
