THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 TO LANDLORDS

The province of Ontario has ordered the mandatory closure of all non-essential workplaces effective March 24th, 2020.

Legal services are considered essential services and we remain available for you. The unfortunate part is the legal outcomes are severely restricted.

The Landlord and Tenant Board closed it's counters for service on March 16, 2020. We can process your applications but you may not get a hearing date till future notice.

The Sheriff cannot enforce eviction orders. The Chief of Justice of Ontario has ordered that eviction not be enforced by the sheriff.
